In “Gaga For Ronstadt,” Eden Casteel recalls her own musical upbringing, while charting Ronstadt’s and Gaga’s journeys from childhood to fame. Casteel shows these two icons are so different, they’re actually similar. Filled with songs you love and intimate stories you’ve never heard before, “Gaga For Ronstadt” is Casteel’s deeply personal tribute to music, talent, and taking risks.
Eden Casteel is a hilariously entertaining performer, producer, and pianist. She is known for her humor and her high notes.
A recovering opera singer who blends high notes with humor, Eden (as in “The Garden Of”) is in demand throughout New England as a piano bar player and dueling pianist. She accompanies other singers in open mics and full cabarets. Her song “What Are You Doing Rosh Hashanah Eve?”, co-written with Dan Chaika, was voted 2024’s Best Novelty/Comedy Song by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC).
Eden was also nominated for a 2024 MAC Award (New York Debut-Female) for Kahn Artist: Madeline And Me, about how Madeline Kahn changed her life through a 30-second beer commercial. The cabaret premiered right here at the Arctic Cabaret Club in 2022 and has been seen in Boston, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Puerto Vallarta, and many other cities. In 2025, Eden performed “Veronique,” a song debuted by Kahn in On The Twentieth Century, at The Mabel Mercer Foundation’s 36th Annual New York Cabaret Convention.
