After another sold out house at NY’s world famous Birdland, New York press says she’s like Adele meets Diana Krall meets Bette Midler. Dare her. She was Joan Rivers’ opening act, who exclaimed “She’s the real deal.” Come see why!
An OUT artist her entire 4 decade (and counting) career, a 30 year headliner with Olivia Cruises, a member of the award winning Flirtations gay acapella group (Philadelphia Story), she’s also a multiple MAC award nominee and recipient of the OutMusic Award for Best Song with Emily Remembers, which was the #1 song of the year on WJZW radio in Washington, DC. It’ll all be in the book – but come hear the stories live first, with her longtime collaborator and accompanist Fred Boyle at the piano.
Award winning Pop/Jazz/Blues vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Suede (piano, guitar, trumpet) has co-headlined with Melissa Etheridge, Sarah McLachlan and others. She tours nationally and internationally filling the best rooms – Feinstein’s in San Francisco to Birdland in NYC; Boston’s Scullers Jazz Club to Washington DC’s Birchmere and Blues Alley; The Kennedy Center and beyond. Her PBS special “Live at Scullers Jazz Club” has currently aired on 54 stations nationally during their on air fundraisers to keep PBS thriving.
“Wicked exciting!” – Boston Globe
“A spectacular evening of song and style. Voices like hers come along maybe once in a generation.” – New York Times
“A great voice, even better enthusiasm, almost giddy delight at entertaining audiences that if bottled would make every anti-depressant on the market obsolete.” – Steppin’ Out Arts, NY
“The REAL deal. She’s got the goods!” – Joan Rivers
“Thank you for the most incredible night of my life in an audience. You are (expletive deleted) to die for!” – Bea Arthur
