Buy TicketsWe could not be more excited to have Michelle Currie back at The Cabaret Club to celebrate Pride Month and to perform her outstanding repertoire of pop, rock, gospel, jazz and the best of Broadway that will make you want to sing along.
Michelle Currie makes musical magic that’s been stopping people in their tracks for more than two decades. With a gutsy, soulful voice and fingers that fly across the ivories at dizzying speed, nobody sings the blues like the lady with the flaming red hair. Michelle is best known for her work at some of New England’s premier piano bars, including the fabulous Front Porch in Ogunquit, Maine where you can enjoy great food, sparkling company and of course terrific music!
You may also have seen Michelle playing at the following venues over the years: The Encore Lounge, Boston; Club Cafe, Boston; The Napoleon Club, Boston; The Kennebunkport Inn, Kennebunkport, ME.
At Last, Michelle’s one-woman cabaret show, was nominated for a prestigious IRNE Award (Independent Reviewers of New England) for best female cabaret performer in 2005. In addition, Michelle has performed all over New England in benefits, showcases and Cabaret Revues, including Forest for the Trees at Emerson’s Cutler Majestic Theatre. Michelle is featured on several cuts on A Seam of Song, and Hallelujah, CDs showcasing musicians who from the lovely Union Church in Biddeford Pool, Maine. All proceeds from the CDs benefit Union Church’s nondenominational mission to create a loving, supportive and joyful community in Biddeford Pool and beyond.
