Buy TicketsDavid Rivera Bozón, founder of DRBTenor, is a Colombian tenor based in Boston, recognized internationally for his extraordinary talent and warm personality. The core of his thriving performance career is to share the joy of singing from the heart.
His performances are engaging, fun, and diverse. They include languages such as Italian, German, English, Russian, French, and Spanish. Also, audience favorites from the classical, Broadway, Latino, and Popular repertoires like O Sole Mio, Cielito Lindo, Nessun Dorma and That’s Amore.
Mr. Bozón is a first-place recipient of Watertown’s (MA) Got Talent 2023 and received acknowledgements by the Pirandello Lyceum for his extraordinary contribution to the Italian Heritage and Culture in the USA, and by the Massachusetts Senate and House of Representatives for his outstanding commitment to the cultural and artistic events in the State. He was also part of the ensemble for the Grammy Nominated Opera The Lord of Cries by John Corigliano with Boston Modern Opera Project.
Some of his recent Operatic engagements include Canio from Pagliacci by Leoncavallo with Opera51, the Husband from Monkey with White Snake Projects, Mario Cavaradossi from Tosca with Opera 51, Nemorino from Elisir d’Amore with Boston Opera Collaborative, Werther with Barn Opera, Alfredo from Traviata with MassOpera and B. F. Pinkerton from Madama Butterfly with Central City Opera. And, with the New England Conservatory Opera: the title role in Idomeneo by W. A. Mozart and Mr. Owen from Postcard from Morocco by Dominick Argento.
David has been also a featured soloist for stage works and recitals such as La Misa Criolla with Assabet Valley Mastersingers, Chariot Jubilee with Nashoba Valley Chorale, Mozart’s Requiem with Masterworks Chorale, Music for a Better Tomorrow: A recital pro-NAGLY with Felix Jarrar, From Bogotá to BelCanto to Broadway in the 2022 Club Cabaret Series at The Arctic Playhouse, recital Blossoming Songs at the Old South Church, FairyTales-Día de los Muertos with Julimar Alarcón at ZUMIX and Soloist for the New England Performance Series with Opera on Tap and Circus 617 at The Cordova Museum Head of The Charles’ Guest Artist 2022, and Music by Carol Koffinke with Milton Community Concerts. David was also the Tenor Soloist of La Resurreccíon de la Fé by Juan Pablo Carreño with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Bogotá and Opera of Colombia, and Guest Artist for the Leon de Greiff Hall Reopening Opera Gala, both in Bogotá, Colombia.
David is a New England Conservatory’s Master of Music and the National University of Colombia Conservatory’s Bachelor.
