Michelle Currie makes musical magic that’s been stopping people in their tracks for nearly two decades. With a gutsy, soulful voice and fingers that fly across the ivories at dizzying speed, nobody sings the blues like the lady with the flaming red hair. Michelle is best known for her work at some of New England’s premier piano bars, including the fabulous Front Porch in Ogunquit, Maine where you can enjoy great food, sparkling company and of course terrific music!

At Last, Michelle’s one-woman cabaret show, was nominated for a prestigious IRNE Award (Independent Reviewers of New England) for best female cabaret performer in 2005. In addition, Michelle has performed all over New England in benefits, showcases and Cabaret Revues, including Forest for the Trees at Emerson’s Cutler Majestic Theatre. Michelle is featured on several cuts on A Seam of Song, and Hallelujah, CDs showcasing musicians who from the lovely Union Church in Biddeford Pool, Maine. All proceeds from the CDs benefit Union Church’s nondenominational mission to create a loving, supportive and joyful community in Biddeford Pool and beyond.
Currently, in addition to playing her regular gigs, Michelle is working on her first solo CD and developing her second one-woman show, Michelle Currie & Friends. Stay tuned for updates and more information!
